# WTF's Next

> Irreverent progressive news, culture criticism, and op-ed. Candid, blunt, and unafraid to say what needs to be said. No billionaires, no bothsidesing.

WTF's Next (wtfsnext.com) is a long-running independent blog founded in 2015 by a Black progressive writer based in the Philadelphia region. The site covers American politics, race, culture, and society from a frank, unapologetically left-leaning perspective. Posts range from sharp political commentary to personal essays grounded in lived experience. The voice is direct, often profane, and always opinionated. The site's name originates from the author's habitual reaction to the absurdity of modern American life: "What the fuck's next?"
